It has been a manic,exhausting but exhilarating month here at CODI HQ with some truly fascinating shows.
Lewis and Kate gained a 4* review with their show “Alas, poor Darwin..?” ( read here) and We even featured on STV … watch it via http://player.stv.tv/summary/edinburgh-festival-2015/ – the 7.05pm ‘Edinburgh Festival 2015’ episode shown on Monday 17 August (Mon 17 Aug, 7.05 pm). Why? One of our shows in the programme is called “Fashion and the selfie” where Mal Burkinshaw Director of Fashion at the Edinburgh College of Art explores, with you the audience, the role that fashion plays in stereotyping ideals of beauty and the rise of the me me me selfie culture
That’s right edfringe 2015 is officially launched.
Yesterday (4th June) saw the release of the Fringe Programme and all our wonderful presenters with it. With 50,459 performances of 3,314 shows from 49 countries in 313 venues its going to be an exciting month and all the more so with the line-up we are supporting here at CODI.
We wanted to say hello from CODI headquarters where prep has ramped up a notch with 62 days until our first presenter Dr. Richard Weller challenges our opinions on poses the first questions!
We have had a revamp of this website where you can find all information about what the Cabaret of Dangerous Ideas is, details of our 24 shows and how to buy tickets, and a reminder of what happened last year to get you excited. We will also be posting regular updates here. Expect news following our final Boot Camp event on the 17th June.
